Happy Birthday, Marlon
This lovable bozo is 12-years-old today. We met on his first birthday, when I picked him up from a Colonel Potter Cairn Rescue Network member, with the intention of fostering him. We quickly fell madly in love and I failed as a fosterer. At 12, he’s entering his dotage; he’s kind of a blindy-doo and is possibly losing his hearing — although, how can you tell the difference between a super-independent cairn terrier losing his hearing and a super-independent cairn terrier simply ignoring your dumb, useless voice? — He’s a beautiful, frisky boy and I feel so lucky to love him.
